My view regarding social innovation has changed over the course of semester. Earlier I used to believe in making changes on a significant level in order to claim it to be social invention or social innovation. I assumed that social innovation meant to have changes in society significant enough that they have a great impact. However, I realized over a course of period that social innovation can take place at any scale since the aim is all about helping people; in every way possible. Social enterprises can be related to food, sports, tourism and/or nature. The main difference between a corporation and a social enterprise is that social entrepreneurs prioritize the needs to public before thinking about profits.

As I am getting closer to launching my social enterprise, I have invested a lot of time thinking about the way immigrants and people from various ethnic backgrounds need to be socially accepted in our society. I personally feel that the best way to promote a diverse society is by talking about it at school. These topics should be made part of the content; hence so that immigrants come to this country, our students are already aware about their country. I feel that different languages should also be taught and introduced in the education system. These slight changes are also known as social innovations and before taking any major steps these, little changes should be considered.
